WELSH SLATE HELPS LOCAL FOOTBALLERS TO STEP UP

Welsh Slate is helping an ambitious local football team to compete in a new-look team league.
The company has donated a football kit for the Under 13s at Blaenau Amateurs FC.
Coach Barry Evans explained: “The aim is to get the Under 13s team to play in a new-look team league, competing against teams in the Caernarfon and Bangor areas. The boys have been together since the Under 7s and are now the oldest age group within the junior set up of the club.”
Up to 20 players will register for the upcoming season.
Barry added: “We are very grateful for Welsh Slate’s support.”
