WELSH SLATE COMPLETES NEW CANTEEN & MEETING ROOM FOR BLAENAU FFESTINIOG AMATEURS FC

Welsh Slate has recently completed a project to install a new canteen/meeting room for Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs FC.
Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs FC is a football club based in Blaenau Ffestiniog, Wales. The club has a long and proud history, and it is a valued part of the local community.
The project was undertaken as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to supporting the local community.
The new facility, located near Welsh Slate’s quarry, was constructed entirely by Welsh Slate personnel. The project involved more than 30 volunteering hours by Welsh Slate employees.
In addition to donating the cabin, the company also removed the old cabin, prepared the ground, lifted the new cabin into place, connected the services, and landscaped the surrounding area. Welsh Slate also provided additional equipment including a first aid stretcher, tea urn, microwave, hob, and fridge.
The new canteen and meeting room will serve both the senior and junior teams of Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs FC, providing a much-needed space for players, coaches and spectators.
A Club spokesperson said “We are incredibly grateful to Welsh Slate for their generosity and support.”
