WELSH SLATE BOOSTS MENTAL HEALTH WITH ADRENALIN

As the UK celebrates Mental Health Awareness Week (May 9-15), Welsh Slate has presented organisers Ynys Môn and Gwynedd MIND with £115 proceeds from a fundraising raffle.
In line with the theme of nature and the environment, first prize was two vouchers for Zip World Velocity , second prize was two Zip World cart vouchers and the third prize was free admission for two to Bodnant Gardens or similar. Zip World is the zip line and quarry carting experience based in Welsh Slate’s Penrhyn Quarry.
Clare Gazdag, MIND’s supporter relations co-ordinator, said: “It’s amazing to hear Welsh Slate would like to donate to MIND. We’re so grateful.”
