FROM THE PIT TO THE KIT

Welsh Slate is continuing its support of one of its local football clubs by sponsoring its football kit.
Over recent years, Mynydd Llandegai FC has grant-funded for changing rooms, hard standing, dug outs, drainage works and a 100-seater stand, all which Welsh Slate has donated aggregate to, totalling 150 tonnes.
The company has also sponsored an advertising board around the pitch near its main Penrhyn Quarry.
The team's manager said "We are very grateful to Welsh Slate for all their support over the years"
