Breedon Volunteer Make a difference day
As part of our Make a Difference Day programme, which offers colleagues the opportunity to raise money for charity, provide up to one days paid volunteering each year and match fund up to £200 on Monday 24 June Nigel Taylor, from Welsh Slate, will be running up and down Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon 4 times to raise money for Kidney Care UK. Nigel has already raised an amazing £560 but his target is £1000.
Last year, Nigel's world changed forever when he lost his beloved Dad. Meningitis, caused many health issues over the years, with kidney failure becoming the biggest challenge.
Determined to help, Nigel went above and beyond. Despite not being a direct match, he participated in the Paired Exchange program, hoping his kidney could give his Dad a new lease on life.
Raising money for Kidney Care UK is Nigel's way to honour his Dad's fight and ensure others receive the vital support they need.
