A WELSH RAINFOREST GARDEN

Holly Anthony from Conwy, north Wales, designer, and creator of the “Welsh Rainforest Garden” at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show, Creative Borders' section, was awarded 4 out of 5 stars which she was extremely pleased with considering the exceptionally high standard at this year's show.
The focus for the design was to raise awareness and promote temperate rainforests, the rare and wonderful habitat that exists in the UK, particularly in Wales, and to create a beautiful, low maintenance border using natural products and local materials for the garden fences and hard landscaping features for a potentially unloved shady spot in the garden.
The design incorporates fence panels from Welsh Slate’s hard landscaping range which are low maintenance and sustainable as they will last a lifetime and we think they look beautiful.
Holly said, “The border looked fantastic with the Welsh slate, and I am so incredibly grateful to Welsh Slate & the Breedon Group for their generosity in contributing towards this project.”
