Welsh Slate goes live issuing electronic Proof of Deliveries (ePODs) for aggregates
Following a successful pilot within the Group, the PODFather ePOD solution, which comprises a cloud-based back-office system and easy-to-use smartphone app for drivers, is now being implemented at the Penrhyn Quarry weighbridge.
The ePOD solution delivers ticketless proof of deliveries, which all parties can access, view and download immediately.
Deliveries are tracked in real-time and all information, including current vehicle location, delivery status, signatures and final destination, are captured using the PODFather driver app and then uploaded as a digital completed ticket.
