Welsh Slate Decorative Aggregates

Welsh Slate decorative aggregate chippings provide an attractive practical mulch for gardeners and landscapers.

Available in three colours, Plum, Blue, and Grey from our quarries in North Wales. Welsh Slate's decorative aggregates are suitable for domestic and commercial applications including garden footpaths, borders and flower beds. They can also be used for weed suppression and pond linings. Welsh Slate decorative aggregates are commonly used in municipal car parks, caravan parks, golf courses and cycle tracks - as well as domestic spaces.

Chippings are available in three colours; Plum, Blue, and Grey, and two sizes 20mm (30-10mm) and 40mm (50-30mm).

Plum

Plum

Quarried from our Penrhyn quarry in Bethesda North Wales. This decorative slate is available in 2 sizes 40mm and 20mm. The slate is purple in colour with some subtle variations in shade.  Popular for lawn borders, raised flower beds and decorative garden rockeries.

Blue

Blue

Blue decorative aggregate, that can also contain purple shades, as it is also quarried from our Penrhyn quarry, in Bethesda. Available in 40mm and 20mm sizes and is suitable for borders, raised beds paths and rockeries.

Grey

Grey

Our Grey decorative aggregate is a traditional slate grey colour, it comes from our Ffestiniog quarry in Snowdonia, North Wales. Available in 40mm and 20mm sizes, it's suitable for borders, raised beds, paths and rockeries and can provide a unique texture to your landscaping project.
