Memorial Slabs
Used for hundreds of years locally and around the UK Welsh Slate’s memorial slate is probably the finest material available for the hand letter carver and will also respond well to machine cutting and sandblasting in particular.
Standard Slabs
Rough sawn scants can be purchased in 20mm to 50mm thicknesses. These are scants that are cut over sized to your final sized requirements.
