Services

We are a traditional company and our workforce have years of experience in both modern and traditional roofing techniques.

We offer a help and advice service to all professionals and home owners.

We offer training to slaters who require specific skills which are necessary to produce workmanship of the finest high quality.

If required, we will inspect the work during slating process to ensure that traditional methods are maintained. This will ensure that every time our slates are used the result will be to the highest standard possible.

We work closely with architects and specifiers to create a functional roof whilst keeping the traditional techniques and styles we care so much about.

We operate out of Derbyshire, giving access to major trade routes across the UK.

Products

Our traditional slates are crafted from specially selected slate rock, which is not suitable for modern production systems.

Our partner, Welsh Slate, selects the finest quality for us to split and dress.

The slates can be used on any building.

The slates are a fully random mix of sizes and thickness, giving an aesthetically authentic traditional look.

We offer two grades, over 14 mm thick and a thinner grade of under 14 mm thick.
